On Thursday 22 November 2018, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, the Prince of the Eastern Region, Asharqia Chamber organized the "Small and Medium Enterprises Forum" under the title, "Bold Capital is Portal for Empowerment."
The Forum is hosted at the headquarter of the Chamber with the participation of a number of officials, speakers and entrepreneurs.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, praised His Highness the Emir of the region and his patronage, which represents the real supporter of the activities of the Chamber.
He pointed out that the Chamber's events always have attention of His Highness.
Al Khalidi explained that the Forum will discuss a number of important and necessary papers in the sector of small and medium enterprises, based on the vision to enhance the role of bold capital in supporting this vital sector.
He pointed out that the message of the Forum reflects the concept of bold capital of investors in small and medium enterprises, which will be a major source of investment channels.
Eng. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Governor of the General Authority for Investment, would be speaking at a panel discussion entitled "The Forum discusses the role of small and medium enterprises in achieving the vision of the Kingdom 2030," which will be held at 10.30 am.
The session will be moderated by Rashid Al-Fawzan, Director of CNBC Arabia's offices in the Kingdom.
Al Khalidi said that the Forum aims to highlight the role of Asharqia Chamber as an important sponsor of this sector at the level of the region and to raise awareness of the importance of bold capital to investors and small and medium enterprises in the Kingdom in general and in the Eastern region in particular, in addition to taking advantage of the leading global experience in the field of bold capital in supporting the small and medium enterprises sector.
AlKhalidi said that one of the most important objectives of the Forum is to identify the best economic sectors that companies in this sector can invest in and develop a long plan to show support for them.
The concept of partnerships and alliances for small and medium enterprises was presented as a strategic option, as well as the development of the skills of the owners of these administrative and technical establishments.
Al-Khalidi said that the Forum will receive active participation through the owners of experience and speakers in this field, who will reveal the importance of supporting this sector as it represents an important economy.
The Forum will also focus on official support for the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
